July 3 & 4 Equals Family Fun

Fireworks and Drone Show

This is going to be a long, fun holiday weekend and the Fair is OPEN now through Juy 9! Today, July 3 it is open noon – 11pm.

 

July 4 will close early; adjusted hours are from noon – 8pm. Note, admission gates close at 4pm, parking closes at 3pm​. All children 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult 21+ (with valid ID) on Tuesday, July 4.

The Carnival Midway and Kids' Carnival will be open 1pm to 8pm on the 4th. Carnival hours will be normal hours 12pm to 11pm on July 3.

Racing

Live horse racing continues on July 4 with first post time at 1:45pm (no racing on July 3).

The Trackside Terrace Outdoor Patio is reserved, restaurant-style seating located on the second level of the Stella Artois Grandstand. Buy a table of 4, 6 or 8. Open on July 4, too:

  • Prime view of race track
  • Buffet dining (menu)

  • Self-service betting kiosks
  • ADA accessible seating
  • Opens an hour before the first race and closes after the last race

Livestock Auction

FFA & 4-H livestock projects provide opportunities for young people to develop solid values that will serve their community wherever they live. At the Alameda County Fair, their hard work pays off when these projects are judged. Come see all the animals in the Pavilion.

 

Don't Miss The Excitement Of The Auction

There is nothing like the Junior Livestock Auction on July 9 to generate excitement and see the culmination of many months of work by local youth. The Junior Livestock Auction provides the community an opportunity to invest in our youth and their future.

Alameda County Fair
 

July 4th Notice:

Plan ahead - on July 4th there will not be a fireworks or drone show, gates will close at 3pm, the Fair will close at 8pm. Children 17 and under must be attended by an adult 21 and over, limit five (5) children per adult. 

The Alameda County Fair is an independent non-profit with no tax funding from the county or state. Proceeds are used to fund the next Fair and provide fun for the community.

Subject to change. No refunds or exchanges.

This year, the Fair streamlined special event ticketing and Fair admission will not be included with special event tickets. This change allows guests to take advantage of discounted admission tickets on sale through June 15 and promotion days to save during fair.

Fair is open Wednesday - Sunday plus Monday, July 3 and Tuesday, July 4.
